The 5th Annual Toys For Tots / Poker Run on November 3rd was a great success! About 150 ATV riders turned out and a large supporting cast of volunteers made the day the most successful Toys for Tots HAAC event in it's 5-year history. The event was in support of the Haldimand REACH Program, a multi-service agency supporting struggling communities. Every year the Haldimand Area ATV Club organizes this event in order to gather gifts and goodies for children and families in these communities as well as raising awareness of trail safety and safe ATV riding practices.
This year's trail featured a water bridge which turned out to be a favourite of the day's fun.

The event has garnered some Web and press coverage:
Walpole Antique Heritage Days Mud Bog and ATV Pull
The HAAC and the Walpole Antique Society Mud Bog was a great success! A big thanks goes out to the HAAC members who made this happen. HAAC is still a young club, and as such, it was fantastic to see the many volunteers who contributed to the day's success. Our members worked hard to ensure that when everyone showed up on Saturday, everything ran smoothly. As one club member put it, "We rocked Jarvis!" Our members should feel proud of being part of the Haldimand Area ATV Club. Without the efforts of volunteers, events such as these would just not happen.
Next rendezvous is the August 19th Poker Run. HAAC invites everyone to come out, have fun, relieve some stress, and help make the Poker Run another great HAAC success.
